Taj Kabob - Afghan Street Food

This is a family-owned restaurant with another location in Country Hills. Owners were very friendly and made our food. The food at Taj Kabob is absolutely delicious, fresh, and made-to-order. We ordered the fish plate and Mantu dumplings. The fish fillet was pan fried-on-order and the dumplings were boiled-on-order to ensure quality and taste. Fish was pan fried perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. Dumplings were very juicy with a spicy kick from the chili sauce. Salad was fresh and no wilted greens. Presentation was great, showed a lot of care when preparing the meal. The restaurant and washroom was very clean, felt spotless. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in this area for a meal. Kid-friendly meals and easy to find parking.

We visited Taj Kabob for the first time. Food is impressive, not bad. We ordered one bowl and 3 platters, including the kebab and fish. The taste was good, and the plates were very fulfilling

Looking for something different for dinner and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The lamb shank was tender and with the spicy chutney it was delicious. The kabobs were flavorful and tender.
