had a very upsetting experience at Tiffin. While eating dal, I found a meat-like object which shocked me due to my religious beliefs. When I called the owner, she asked me to bring the object in, but since I had already shown it to my friends and dropped it in distress,no apology nothing no empathy towards a customer who was and is disturbed.
Instead of showing understanding, she told me I had already made up my mind and wouldn’t listen to her, which felt incredibly dismissive. What hurt me most was when she said that she has immense knowledge of food and I am just a common human being. This made me feel belittled and disrespected.
As a customer, I have every right to raise concerns and be treated with empathy—not arrogance. I’m sharing this experience so others are aware, and I sincerely hope the management reflects on how they treat people who come to them with genuine concerns.

Absolutely incredible! This was my favourite spot in Kelowna on my trip. The family that owns this are so sweet and personable. I loved chatting with the female owner. The food is so fresh and the naan bread is buttered fresh in front of you. Huge fan of this place, please expand to Victoria BC one day! : )
