I recently visited Ember again and was impressed by the restaurant's ambiance and location. The views of the dyke are stunning, and the interior architecture is excellent. I tried the Goat Curry this time, which tasted great, especially when paired with naan bread instead of rice. Unfortunately, the rice was a bit dry. The Chicken Tikka was average, with a few pieces of chicken overwhelmed by potatoes. On the other hand, the Fuggles beer IPA was a great choice. As a local brew, it tasted delicious with just the right amount of bitterness. Very enjoyable! Overall, Ember's atmosphere and beverage selection are definitely highlights. While Ember's food is usually good, sometimes it's not that up to the taste.
