I initially visited Mezza during their opening week a few years ago, and admittedly, I wasn't really impressed with my meal and swore to never return.
I decided it was time to give them another chance. Mezza is a fast food type Lebanese restaurant chain established in Halifax and has since grown to have many locations across the maritimes.
The building boasts modern, minimalistic exterior decor, and the same can be said for the interior. While it may be minimalist, it exudes luxury and class by utilizing premium materials such as wood, polished concrete, and glass.
The interior features a dining room with individual tables and chairs, along with a countertop checkout area. The checkout area is akin to those of a sandwich shop. You order, and as your food is being made, you are asked if you want certain toppings or sauces.
Due to utilizing this kind of assembly business model, it allows them to assemble the meal efficiently. I ordered two protein bowls, and it took less than 10 minutes overall for me to order and leave with the food. Additionally, this location features a drivethru.
The service I received was excellent and courteous. The store was extremely clean and well lit with a mixture of natural and artificial light.
Overall, the food was delicious and filling, and the service I received was good.
