Hands down the BEST food experience I’ve had in the past 10 years — a true 10/10! The food is incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and prepared with so much authenticity and care. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma, and I had the lamb shawarma — and wow. The chicken shawarma was absolutely perfect: juicy, flavorful, with just the right amount of garlic, and the pickles added the perfect tang. What impressed us most? They use authentic Arabic pita, not tortillas — a detail that makes all the difference. As for the lamb shawarma — incredible. You could tell the lamb was freshly butchered — vibrant, tender, and perfectly cooked. I even saw it go on the grill, red and fresh. The smell was amazing as it was being cooked! It came loaded with cooked onions, tomatoes, and was finely diced for the perfect texture. Finished with rich tahini sauce and served in generous portions, it was everything I hoped for and more. The owner and staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Their passion for what they do really shines through. Saint John — let’s support this gem in the heart of Uptown. The staff were super nice and the food is delicious. Seriously delicious. I got it late at night and decided to save it for the next day, and even after being in my fridge overnight it is one of the best shawarmas I have ever had. I can't imagine how amazing it is fresh! Good price, and they are open until just after the bars close. Definitely go here
