What people say about (Karahi Point Richmond Hill)

Saleem Akram

Karahi Point offers a fantastic dining experience with its excellent ambiance, super friendly team, and spotlessly clean environment. Their delicious halal food, paired with awesome non-alcoholic drinks and perfectly brewed tea, makes it a must visit spot for anyone craving a memorable meal.

Ordered the butter chicken for takeout. The portions are extremely small for $20. It’s also really watery and has a chalky taste to it. Also very spicy. The only good thing was the garlic naa

I had the worst experience at Karahi Point in Richmond Hill. It was my first time trying Indian food, and it turned out to be a disaster. I ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani and found a bone in the rice—not just any bone, but one that looked like it came from pre-eaten food. It was revolting, and I completely lost my appetite. When I pointed it out, they claimed, “That’s how we cook the rice.” Honestly, that explanation made no sense whatsoever. The restaurant was freezing cold, and we had to keep our jackets on the entire time. On top of that, the food was late, which just made everything worse. When I told them I didn’t enjoy my meal and asked for the entire bill to be waived (as there were only $30 left after they removed the dish with the bone), they refused. Instead, they said, “We already took this meal off your bill. What else can we do to make you happy?” Well, the damage was already done. My partner and I didn’t enjoy the meal at all, and their lack of understanding or effort to fix the situation was unacceptable. I told them I would write this review, and I’m sticking to my word. As someone who loves dining out and is generally not picky, this was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Save your time, money, and appetite—don’t go here.
