What people say about (Chez Talal)

Asad A

It was the first time in a long time I went here, last time i'll go ever again, clearly the ownership has changed. Lady with white hair is incredibly rude. I paid $60 for 2 shawarmas, 3 drinks, a baklava and fries. The food was mediocre at best, meat had a smell to it, it was made in a pita not an actual fresh shawarma bread, pita tasted expired, oily fries that smell and taste like old cooking oil. I found a hair in the meat of the shawarma too, oh joy. When I received the itemized receipt there was a "1 Dollar Extra" charge, 3 times and the lady wanted to yell and talk over me with oh our prices are fair, and oh my supplier charges me the same regardless of drink (pure b.s) I tried explaining that if you want customers to come back you cant charge $3.50 for an oasis apple juice, but all she wanted to do was talk over me and insist that her brother will give me $15 if I want it. The lady was not receptive to feedback at all and just wanted to talk over me at a mile a minute so I just left. I wont be bringing my business here ever again and I'd suggest any of the following alternatives to anybody who reads this: Donerlicious Flaming Stove Shawarma Royale You'll get a much better meal for your value and the service is actually good at all of the above places, these new owners will run this place out of business with the way its being managed.

Chez Talal has declined significantly since the change in ownership. I ordered the chicken skewer, which tasted undercooked, with ingredients that seemed expired. The texture was fatty and chewy, not like chicken breast as advertised. I had to discard the food and experienced a stomach ache. This was a highly disappointing and concerning experience.

The food wasn't bad, but not the best shawarma. I would go back if I was in the area.
