We visited Kadai Point in Oakville with a large group of about 10 people. Unfortunately, the experience started off on a frustrating note—we had to wait a long time to be seated even though there were several empty tables available that could’ve accommodated us. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and spacious, and the ambiance was definitely a plus.
When it came to the food, it was a mixed experience. The Kadai dish was extremely dry and lacked flavor, which was disappointing. I ordered chaat papdi, but after about 10 minutes, the server returned just to let me know it was unavailable. The fish pakora was okay—nothing special, and not very flavorful. The raw onion salad was poorly prepared with large, bitter chunks that were difficult to eat. Slicing them thinner would have made a big difference.
On the positive side, the chicken seekh kebabs were the highlight—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was decent; staff did check in on us occasionally, but there’s definitely room for improvement overall.
