La Luna Downtown

On a lunch date a friend took me to La Luna for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised!!! We both got Fattoush salad, with mixed veggies, added chicken and feta. The dressing is an olive oil

I am not impressed, the food is over priced, one plate is $35.00 + tax (see photo below) and I don see the value. We asked if we could get some additional rice, they charged us $8.00 extra with tax. There is not enough people to serve customers, only partial service was provided. We had diarrhea after finished our food (dine in). Will not come back. Thank you for the experience. This quality of food and price is not what I expected.

I have been a customer of La Luna for many years and have gone to almost every location…Concession, Upper James, James south(recently closed) 🙁 and the King Street west location. My experience at every location has always been excellent but today I want to focus on the King Street west location. The lovely lady who served me for my take out order was just so personable she recognized that I was a healthcare provider as I had my uniform on…I am a registered nurse and had just finished a very busy shift. She took a keen interest in the work that I do which after a very busy day was so nice to hear. When I shared a bit about me…semi retired also take care of grand-babies and how I love all that I do she was so positive in terms of all that I do and as I left the store she said “remember to take time for you too”. All this in a pickup order experience. Thank you La Luba for having such excellent representatives at the helm. PS the food was excellent as always.
