Patties Express

I fell victims to what I believe was truthful reviews due to time constraints I picked up 6 beef and 6 frozen chicken. I bought one beef to go Haven bought from authentic stores I got sucked into the reviews. Well. If anything to contribute, at least a honest review would be good and honest I would not give these parties to my dog. The beef smelled terrible. The pastry is not fresh and tasted stale. As a person of colour who knows what a real Jamaican Pattie should taste like this is a farce I called right away to tell them I wanted a refund and the meat smelled so bad the owner refused to take them back I get it, most places would want to satisfy the customer but they were not willing to. I was also asked not to write a bad review as it wood impact the store and the workers! But very sarcastically said “it’s your right to if you want”. It’s the right for others to know the truth and this place is not worth the visit. The quality is sub par! I will Take one on the chin and move on. Please do not waste your money and health go elsewhere please! .

May 26 ,2025 The guy working here at upper Canada mall store patties express - had a very disappointing experience with one of the employees here. I came to pick up food, but the staff member was extremely rude. He didn’t allow me to stand or wait in front of the store and spoke in an unprofessional tone. It made me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures better customer service moving forward.

We all got these Patties and there were delicious! So good that we went back and grabbed a dozen for home. The spicy beef has a nice kick. I could use a little more spice but it was still very good. The pastry was flakey and buttery. The beef filling that was well seasoned and moist. We will be grabbing a bunch to bring back home to Calgary. So Good!!
