Sukhdev Restaurant North Bay

Sukhdev is amazing. The food tastes like it was made by a friend, home style goodness. I highly recommend the Chicken Tandoori and Lamb Biryani. The restaurant is extremely neat and clean, amazing staff, and great service. The buffet is where it’s at! Well stocked with plenty of variety. I helped myself to 3 plates and am already dreaming of my next visit. Sukhdev offers the most authentic Indian food you can get in North Bay. Could not recommend more.

The food is really good and prepared to the expected standards, but you have to be concerned about the spice levels, if you are Canadian you may say around 1- 3, and if other countries like India, Sri Lanka 3 - 5, would be really fine. Customer service is really good, and the way they have treated us will be appreciated, especially Ms.Shukpreet served us well.

The food here is actually very good flavorful, well-prepared, no complaints on that front. The service, on the other hand, is a mess. The server clearly isn’t trained properly and walks around without a notepad, forgetting basic requests like water, napkins, and items people already asked for. When you seat a table, give them menus, drinks, and utensils — don’t disappear for 20 minutes. It’s not a complicated fix: train the staff to do the basics and write things down. If you’ve got patience and aren’t in a rush, the food makes it worth it. But don’t expect smooth service or much attention to detail.
