Khokha Eatery

During our visit to Ottawa, we had an amazing dining experience at Khokha Eatery! The restaurant's vibrant colors and unique decor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we instantly loved. The food was incredibly satisfying—especially the smash burger and fries, which were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We also tried the Hakka chicken noodles, mac 'n' cheese, and chicken biryani, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. To top it off, the kheer for dessert was a sweet and comforting finish to our meal. As visitors from Calgary, this was our first time finding such a great Pakistani restaurant in Ottawa, and we were genuinely impressed. Highly recommended!

The lentil fritter and yogurt dish had minced tomatoes and deep fried chips on top. It was rich and savory spiced comfort food. The kheer (rice pudding) was fabulous - it was sweet and cardamom tasting - so lovely! Zirmina also gave me the whole back story to the Khokha car which was painted by Pakistani “truck-painters”. It’s a small restaurant but a colorful and welcoming place. Halal. 🌈-recommended!
