If you're looking for some lip-smacking delicious karachi treat in Mississauga - Chef G is the place to be.. Tried the newly lauched veal Karahi and it's delicious.. also at a very reasonable price.. Definitely a good addition to the menu. Biryani was another highlight and Tawa Qeema with parathas hit the right spot.. All in all, I'd definitely recommend chef G.

Tried Chef G for the first time today after reading reviews. First, i would really like to request the owner to either remove the option of dine in or expand the place/lease a different place. It is not recommended as a dine in place for claustrophobic people or people who suffocate in small spaces. The space was so small that even for sitting on the table, you have to squeeze yourself in somehow. Now, if you have kids, this is going to be really challenging, given that there is only one highchair available. So for parents of young kids/toddlers or babies, better take out or get food delivered. The food quality and taste overall were good. Biryani was delicious 10/10 for the serving size and taste. Beef nihari was exceptional. We ordered another plate for takeout, so 10/10 for that. Naans were good, soft, and filling as well. Beef haleem was disappointing. It seemed like there was meat in it at all. Just lentils cooked in water and lots of hot pepper. It was very spicy, runny/watery (unlike a thick texture of haleem), and no meat at all. So 1/10 for beef haleem. Karak chai had a very bold/strong taste of elaichi, and it didn't seem to have sugar. For those who don't like elaichi much in the chai (it was a very strong elaichi flavor) and people who are ok with less sugar might like it, otherwise there are way better options available for chai. 1/10 Pricing overall was reasonable and the quantity of each item was satisfactory.
