We had a lovely dining experience at Mambo Italiano, which is 100% halal—a huge plus! Celebrating an anniversary, we ordered a bottle of Celebration Peach sparkling water, which was a nice option to have. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the Cajun Linguini with veggies in a creamy rosé sauce, and it was perfection. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the complementary bread was warm and absolutely delightful. The steak with peppercorn mushroom sauce, accompanied by veggies and potatoes, was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the ambiance left room for improvement. A staff member taking their break in the dining area disrupted the overall vibe, and the atmosphere could use a bit more refinement to match the quality of the food. Additionally, communication and professionalism could be elevated to enhance the overall experience. Food was 🤌🏽

We made the trip all the way from Scarborough to try out this Italian Halal restaurant after reading some amazing reviews—and it was absolutely worth it! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm service and high quality of the food. Our server, a lovely and knowledgeable woman, went above and beyond. She guided us through the menu and recommended some of the most popular dishes, which did not disappoint. My spouse ordered the steak, and I went for the grilled chicken served with vegetables and potatoes—both were delicious. We also tried the Mango Bellini, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. To top it all off, the tiramisu was heavenly! A sweet gesture from the owner made our evening even more special—he offered us the tiramisu on the house after we mentioned the steak was cooked more well done than medium-well. It was a kind and thoughtful touch. As we enjoyed our meal, we found ourselves smiling while watching a program about Italy on TV—such a fitting vibe for the evening. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be coming back!
