Malai Thai cuisine ptbo

It was my first time visiting this restaurant and first ever Thai place in PTBO. I should say I was blown away by the food quality and service offered which I wasn’t expecting. The waitress ( Akansha) was amazing, very friendly, welcoming and cheerful. She suggested the Basil Thai Fried rice and Malai fried rice and it was authentic and fantastic. We also tried the ginger chicken to add some extra spice kick to the rice. The dish was colourful, full of flavours with excellent blend of veggies and chicken. The Banana fried fritters with ice cream was a bliss to end the evening. I’m glad I was able to find a good place to eat out as my experience with some Indian restaurants in PTBO was awful. Thanks to this team for your excellent service and great food!

I was so excited to try Malai Thai as it had been awhile since I had Thai food. The waitress was lovely. She immediately welcomed our table, brought us water and menus. I asked for her recommendations and she provided a few. Meanwhile the door kept opening as SkipThedishes drivers and takeout orders were being picked up consistently. We ordered appetizers (salad rolls, samosas and shrimp chips with peanut sauce) and our entrees (Pad See Ew with Beef). The food was delicious and fresh. I didn’t realize how large the portion size was and was really full by the end of my meal. I even took leftovers home for lunch! The pricing was absolutely fair and I appreciated trying a few different options. I look forward to coming back to try the Red or Green curry!

I've been here many times and everytime is so good! Very authentic Thai food. The food is packed with flavour, its aromatic, highly recommend. I try and new dish every time but every dish I've tried have been great!
