Gabby's Pickering

Just had an awesome night at this bar-restaurant that totally nailed the vibe. The interior was a cool mix of rustic charm and modern touches. Their beer selection was impressive, featuring a variety of local brews that paired perfectly with the food. The cocktails were creative and well-balanced. We tried fish and chips, burger , and quesadillas. The quesadillas were packed with flavor, with just the right amount of cheese and spice. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxed night out with friends, offering delicious food, excellent drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

We dined in at Gabby’s during the first week of opening and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our server was very friendly, efficient and entertaining. Very at tentative to all our needs. Food was great comfort food. We have the wings and fries, and a veggie burger with salad. The wings were juicy and tasty and some of the best I’ve had in Ajax. And the veggie burger was tasty with fresh toppings. We will be back for sure and highly recommend! Top notch restaurant.

Gabby's is now open in Pickering! This restaurant offers family-friendly dining with a casual atmosphere, although they do have giant screen TVs for sports fans, and a well stocked bar. I had their Craft City Burger, featuring a 6oz beef patty, cheese, onion rings, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, and fries, all for CDN$18. It was impressive looking - so tall I had to squish it to take a bite. Unfortunately, the flavour didn't quite live up to the image. I found it a bit bland, even just lacking salt and pepper. The fries, in my opinion, could have been cooked a bit longer or maybe at a higher temperature to crisp them up a bit more. My server did a pretty good job, considering everything was also new to her. She was friendly and didn't miss anything. Despite my less than stellar review, I'll be back. 3.5/5.0
