ippon ramen pickering

Came in on a quiet Sunday, but the decorations and atmosphere were cozy and calm. Farah welcomed us and mentioned we could sit anywhere. We ordered an app - takoyaki, two Ramens - Ippon Sho

Solid 4, with some dishes better than others. Family-friendly. I usually get the black knight ramen and chicken karaage to share with my daughter. If we go with my husband, we also get a rice dish. The curry katsu rice dish is delicious!! It is Japanese curry that isn't spicy but very flavourful. On one occasion, we did find not one, but two long hair in our rice. We told the server and they promptly made another dish for us. We tried the yakisoba, not my fave dish of theirs. It was loaded with mayo sauce, but other than being fatty and creamy, it didn't do much for a balanced savoury flavour. I like that Ippon doesn't use MSG for their soup, my little one loves their ramen. They also provide children's bowl and utensils for the kids. Their mochi ice cream is a must get. Service is always friendly. Washroom is large, clean, and comfortable to bring my child to use.
