My gf and I have been to a couple Shawarma Royales and liked the food. But when we tried the food (beef and lamb bowl and king shawarma wrap) at the 1097 Kingston location, the food was just… different. In a great way. It was more flavourful, more filling and just tasted better than the other locations, which we were already fine with. When we went in, the owner told us we would not walk away unsatisfied, and he was right. He also said the difference was he made the food with love in his heart. And as hokey as it sounds, I feel like that made the difference lol The restaurant itself was large with lots of seating, the food was great and the service and staff was amazing. I highly recommend you try it out for yourself.

Falafel Rice Bowl - Rice were little greasy and falafel was overpowered with dressing. Taste was average. Chicken Shawarma - I got a good deal with fries and pop for $10. Only thing I didn't like was hot sauce it had a sour taste and didn't feel hot. Fries were really good. Plenty of seating and parking in plaza. Nice atmosphere.
