What people say about (Rambo's Kitchen Pakistani Food)

Anas Ahmed

Got the large mixed BBQ platter which I feel was great value for the food. Also got the masala fries along with 6 naans. Honestly, the food is really good compared to some other places in the city. 4 stars overall because the food was still on the saltier end for my taste.

Rambo’s Kitchen Pakistani Food Sesame Seed Naan ($2.99) Personally, I’ve never had sesame seed naan, so I was dying to try it. It came in two large pieces, which was unusual; in my experience, naan is cut up into four or five pieces. This was worth its pricing. Rating: 8.5/10. Chicken Malai Boti Roll ($11) “Chicken Malai” translates to “Cream Chicken.” In this case, “Boti Roll” just means a meat wrap. It was a good size and flavour was plentiful. It reminded me of shawarma but was wrapped in soft paratha (flaky, layered flatbread). Rating: 8.3/10. Chicken Seekh Kebab ($14, two skewers) Chicken seekh kebab is eaten by Indians all over their country. It comprises minced chicken seasoned with spices, herbs, and other ingredients. They form these chunks of meat into cylinders, which they proceed to grill on skewers. It’s called “Seekh” because of the skewer they use to grill it. This dish came with a spiced yogurt dip. I paired the kebabs and dip with the Sesame Seed Naan. Rating: 8.4/10. CUSTOMERS BEWARE Their service was frustrating. I had been waiting for about 15 minutes to order, and all of a sudden they brought me some samosas. I never ordered these (in fact, they thought I asked for them). When they came to take my real order, I ordered a Sweet Lassi among other things, and so I paid. Then, they told me that they were out of Sweet Lassis and that I had to get their Mango Lassi. They should have checked to see if they were in stock first. I got a refund. Final Opinion I’ve never seen a restaurant do this to a customer. It is appalling.

Chicken seekh kebab platter was very good, biryani rice spicy and tasty but slightly too salty. The beef Nihari was flavourful, and the tandoori naan hot and fresh. Gulab jamun served warm an
