Shah's Halal Food

I stopped by Shah's Halal Food and tried their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich on my first visit, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! The sandwich was incredible—tender, juicy steak, perfectly melted cheese, and fresh, crisp veggies all packed into a soft roll that held everything together. The flavors were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of seasoning. What I really appreciate is that their food is hand-slaughtered halal, which is so important to me. It’s hard to find such delicious, high-quality halal options, and Shah's does not disappoint! The portion size was generous, and the ingredients were fresh. On my second visit, I decided to try the chicken and lamb over rice, and it was just as amazing! The meat was flavorful and perfectly cooked, with the rice complementing it beautifully. The white and hot sauces took the dish to another level. The customer service could be better though, they couldn't do a simple substation of fries instead of salad but I understand. The guy at the front in glasses looked like he was being forced to stand there at gunpoint, smile brother, you're being paid to be there. Other than that, food was delicious and will be back for more.

We were randomly driving in Windsor and shocked to see this here (this take out spot is VERY popular in New York City / London, UK). We were curious to try this as we love Adel’s / Halal Guys in NYC. This did not disappoint and was even better. Highly recommend chicken (tandoori) / lamb over brown basmati rice and salad. With all three sauces (white / green and red)….Now waiting for this to expand with more locations in Toronto!

Amazing food, professional service, and decor is lovely. I love the patio option as well. Was not aware of this restaurant until I was looking for a late night store and found shah’s open till 12am. I’ve been here twice since and love the place, the service and quality of food. keep up the good work.
