We visited Paramount Middle Eastern Food and ordered some pies. Unfortunately, when we received them, the back of each pie had a thick, black, tar-like layer—likely from a very dirty oven. Our hands and napkins got stained just handling them. While this was off-putting, I appreciate that the staff and store manager acknowledged the issue, made an effort to clean the oven and restart it, and were quick to issue a refund when I expressed my discomfort. I also took a photo to document the black residue. Good customer service, but the cleanliness issue was a major letdown.
