We were welcomed by a gentleman who, rather than greeting us warmly, immediately told us that we had only an hour and a half as the table was booked after us. This was despite the fact that we had also made a reservation. It was an unwelcoming and abrupt start to what was supposed to be a joyful Eid family outing.
Unfortunately, things only got worse from there. The food was extremely poor. The lamb dish arrived floating in oil, making it heavy and greasy, and the chapli kebabs were like rubber – tough, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavour. It was clear that little to no care had gone into the preparation.
The service was just as disappointing. Staff appeared lost and disorganised, struggling to get the order right and showing no real sense of attentiveness or hospitality. There was a clear lack of coordination and professionalism throughout the experience.
This was our first and absolutely last visit to The Orangery by Sapna. What should have been a memorable Eid celebration turned into a completely frustrating and underwhelming evening. I cannot overstate how disappointing the food and service were.

I went there for the iftar set menu and had a really good time.
The food was good and I was pleased it was a set menu but when I got up to pay they asked for an extra £10 for a service charge
