Adrak is one of the best Indian restaurants in Toronto, with delicious food and exceptional presentation. The location is convenient, with easy access from Highway 7, making it a great spot for both casual and business dining. The food was fantastic, flavorful, rich, and beautifully plated. Each dish looked like it was crafted with great attention to detail. The combination of taste and presentation truly set Adrak apart from other Indian restaurants in the area. The atmosphere was pleasant and suited well for a business district, offering a refined yet comfortable dining experience. However, the service left something to be desired. The waitstaff were efficient but lacked warmth and personality. They performed their duties but with little engagement, no smiles or personal touch. At times, we had to actively look for the servers, as they rarely checked on us without being called over. It’s important to note that some dishes can take up to an hour to prepare, so it’s worth asking ahead to avoid long waits. Additionally, while some items are spicy (as expected from an Indian restaurant), I didn’t find the heat overwhelming. If you’re sensitive to spice, it’s manageable, but checking with the staff beforehand is a good idea. Overall, Adrak offers excellent food and a lovely atmosphere but could improve its service to create a more welcoming and attentive dining experience. Despite this, it remains a top choice for Indian cuisine in the city.
