Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes - Waterloo

A dream for those with celiac!! Dedicated fryer for fries, burgers are gluten free, and the gluten free bun was very soft and not gritty. I asked about the bbq burger with bacon and cheese and he brought out the bbq sauce for me to read the ingredients so I could ensure it was safe. They also don’t use cardboard straws which I really appreciate because I can’t handle the sensory feedback that comes with cardboard straws. The place is spotless and the service was excellent. I believe it was the owner who handled our order. He was so kind and was happy to answer my questions. The food here is also Halal for those who are looking for a great halal spot!!

Good and tasty. I got the free burger. To acknowledge the other reviews, yes the owner seems a little hostile towards people coming to just claim a free burger is true however, I made a joke saying how I need to taste it first and he seemed okay after we spoke a few words. This place is truly okay. Not too bad. I would be back with the service I got (in the end). Come if you’d like a decent burger. It is not too juicy but it certainly is cooked well through and not raw at all.

We had the Hawaiian Burgers & they did NOT disappoint. Fries were fresh, burgers had fresh veggies & tasted amazing. The staff were so friendly & had great recommendations. Also the place is as clean as can be so if you don’t like germs, here’s your place. Please go check them out and support our locals. You will not regret it. And to boardwalk.
