After over 20 years ordering from here so annoyed tonight 2 hour wait told 45 mins to an hour. I am not a complainer and am not complaining about the food but I am annoyed tonight and not like me should have been told earlier and would have collected it . We as regular s should be treated better . Might be the last one tonight as I am still annoyed.

I still think Golden City is the better place if we are talking about Acomb Chinese places but It's a good takeaway the meals are nice but I still think Mak"s is the better place in general for all of York. having said that this place is reasonably priced so if you want a takeaway on a budget this is your place. My favourite item here is the Ribs they are GORGEOUS I love the MSG taste and Chinese food uses a lot of it. The staff are friendly as I said if you want a takeaway on a budget this is your place. Not bad delivery times are reasonable. Never had a bad experience. Whatever you do though if you want an alternative NEVER use Mr Happy that was an actual disaster!
