Restaurant Boustan

I went to this restaurant today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered two sandwiches: one chicken and one beef (the new limited-time Philly steak). The man at the counter insisted that I take both with beef, but I said no. To my surprise, instead of slicing fresh chicken from the rotating spit, he used some chicken that had been sitting in a pan. As for the beef, he cooked it in a non-stick pan and kept scraping the pan with metal tongs to get even the burnt and stuck bits of food, until I had to tell him, "I think it's fine now." The beef sandwich tasted awful — burnt and filled with what felt like toxic residue from the pan being scratched with metal. This place used to be great, but it’s just not the same anymore. Not to mention the lady working there didn’t seem to care at all — she was on the phone and it took her over 10 minutes just to take my order.

Very good customer service every time I visit. Food is always great.
