What people say about (Arahova Souvlaki Pointe-Claire)

Elias Charisis

It’s a great place to enjoy Greek food with your friends and family. The restaurant is spacious, making it perfect for kids to move around freely, and it also has a terrace for outdoor dining

Servers were very nice, food a bit cold but it was a takeout so to be expected. The Tzatziki is simply one of the best auto my taste, and I wish they would load more on the souvlaki pita. T

In my youth, I often traveled down to Saint viateur just for a taste of Arahova Souvlaki’s world-class souvlaki wraps. Recently, I decided to visit the takeout counter of their West island location, breaking with my long-standing tradition to try something new: the Arahova Poutine with chicken gyro. Let me tell you, this was a fantastic decision! The poutine itself was a revelation—Arahova takes a classic and elevates it. The home-cut fries were exactly what you want from poutine: golden, crispy, and thick enough to hold their own under the rich, thick gravy. This isn’t just any gravy; it was hearty and perfectly seasoned, the ideal balance of savory depth and richness. The tangy feta cheese added a beautiful Greek twist to the dish, giving it a distinct sharpness that cuts through the richness, adding an extra layer of flavor. The chicken gyro was served separately, and it truly stood out as its own star. Grilled to perfection, the chicken was juicy, tender, and seasoned exquisitely. The flavors were bold, yet not overwhelming, showcasing the perfect blend of spices that makes Arahova’s gyro so beloved. Whether eaten on its own or combined with the poutine, the chicken added an extra level of magic to the meal. Together, the combination of the crispy fries, smooth gravy, tangy feta, and the grilled chicken created a symphony of textures and flavors. Each bite was balanced, indulgent, and deliciously memorable. Overall, the West island Arahova Souvlaki maintains the high standards that made their Saint Future location a go-to in my youth. While the souvlaki wraps are still a beloved staple, the Arahova poutine with chicken gyro might just become my new favorite. It’s hearty, flavorful, and an exciting fusion of Canadian comfort food with Greek flair. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone looking to break away from tradition and explore the unique offerings of this iconic eatery.
