This place is great! It’s small but very cozy, and it serves authentic Lebanese kebabs. Located upstairs, it offers nice window views, which are perfect for tourists. The waitress didn’t spea

Everything is great! The view, the staff, the food and the atmosphere. 😉 I will edit my review later on. It should’ve been longer and more detailed as I always do with my other reviews. 🙂

We visited Montreal Kebab in Old Montreal January 1st, and sadly, it was our worst experience in the city. While the atmosphere and interior were nice, things quickly went downhill. First, we weren’t informed until we sat down that each person had to order a dish. Since we were a group of six, that forced us to order more food than we initially planned. I ordered poutine, and two other friends did as well. However, one couple didn’t get their poutine and received a completely different dish instead. When we informed the staff, the manager—who seemed to be the owner—blamed us for ordering incorrectly instead of resolving it calmly. He even mentioned deducting the server’s salary, which felt unfair and unnecessary. To make matters worse, my friend wanted to pray since they have a prayer spot, but after the issue, they refused to let him use it, giving odd excuses. On top of that, there’s a mandatory 15% service charge, but it’s not included in the bill—you’re just expected to tip it. That felt misleading and forced. The food itself was average at best, and for what we paid, it wasn’t worth it. We spent roughly $26 per person and could have had a much better experience elsewhere. This was the only bad experience we had in Montreal, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
