The service was excellent. We came as a large party (42 we called ahead). The atmosphere was pleasant and conducive to our group - interestingly enough we weren't that noisy, so we didnt dist

Where's the Sauce? I visited with a friend for a late lunch/early dinner, and we were famished from our day's activities. While trying to decide what to order, the warm and attentive waitress brought us water, toast, butter, and lemon wedges. I wasn’t sure about the lemon wedges, but the toast and water were a nice welcome. We ended up ordering the fried calamari and two chicken brochette combos each. With tax and tip, the total came to about $120-$130 for two people. The calamari was amazingly bland (yay for the lemon wedges!). Also sauceless—was that normal? I checked reviews and sure enough, photos showed calamari without any sauce. No cocktail sauce, no aioli, nothing. Maybe it’s just me, my friend, and a lot of other people I’ve asked, but isn’t a dipping sauce standard? Next up, the chicken brochette combo. Not horrible, but what exactly was so "Greek grill" about it? The chicken was nearly white with a little pink, so it was juicy, but—where was the tzatziki? Isn’t that a normal addition? The rice was forgettable, the potato was surprisingly fun to eat, and the salad—no feta. All in all, disappointing. I had heard high praise for this place back in the day, but my friend and I quickly lost our appetites. Surprisingly, the kind yet unconcerned waitress didn’t ask if anything was wrong—call me crazy, but that feels like a sign of habit. She just boxed everything up (expertly, I might add), and we ended up enjoying it later that night—with some Heinz seafood cocktail sauce and Kraft chicken BBQ sauce.
