What people say about (Digby's Restaurant fish and chips, wings and burgers halal - Kanata)

Came here after a nail-biting hockey game and was rewarded with the crispiest fries and most delicious Alaskan pollock fish. The jalapeño poppers were divine. A gem in the halal food scene. Will definitely make the drive out here to taste their food again.

Ordered the lemon butter sole with vegetable and mashed potatoes for delivery. Cost for my meal was $22.95. On delivery a small amount of flaked fish sat mixed in with the cold obviously grocery store bought frozen vegetables. Contacted the store and was told there was no one to help me and if I wanted any money back I could ‘come and get it’. Last time ordering or eating anything from this disgusting restaurant.

The service was amazing there, and the food was very fresh! We went out for dinner to try mainly their fish & chips, but ended up getting a couple of other items too - some popcorn shrimp (it was alright), their grilled chicken with caesar salad (fell in love with this & the slightly charred pieces gave a touch of BBQ!) & also some chicken tenders (not our favorite - seemed a little overdone, but tasted fine). The manager there - Destiny, was very good at being able to accommodate us as we wanted some kind of a spicy sauce or powder that we can sprinkle onto our food. She was able to get us a spice mix & also some hot sauce which enhanced the taste of the fish & chips - we got haddock fish. They give you very large portions - we had leftovers for lunch the next day, & they are very generous overall. We were impressed & will probably be going back soon. What helps is that it is a completely halal restaurant, so no concerns of cross contamination here Al-humdulillah. And the cherry on top was that they had reruns of FRIENDS playing! We went back for round # 2 a couple weeks later for a snack & we were delighted once again!
