What people say about (Le Château de l'Inde)

Absolutely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth Your Time or Money If you're looking for a place to feel truly unwelcome and disappointed, this restaurant delivers on that front. From the moment we arrived, the experience went downhill. The first thing they asked was whether we planned to spend at least $25 per person. If not, you're simply not allowed to dine—how’s that for hospitality? The staff were cold and unwelcoming, without so much as a smile. Our glasses sat empty for a long time before we had to ask— just to get water. For a supposedly full-service dine-in restaurant, that’s unacceptable. The menu itself is misleading. It displays several combination options, but when you place your order, you don't get few of them .” I even asked them twice, they told they will provide certainly but did not even dared to feed at your table. That’s just poor management. When it came time to settle the bill, we were told to go to the counter instead of being served at the table. This was the same person who again went to settle the bill. While doing so, we were shocked to see a $8.80 “service charge” added—on top of which they had the audacity to charge an additional 15% tax. This kind of double-charging is outrageous and completely unjustifiable. What’s worse, they still displayed tip suggestions on the terminal—as if they had earned it. To top it all off, the person handling the bill didn’t even bother to look at us. He was on the phone, handed over the bill mid-conversation, and walked off immediately. No courtesy, no thank you—nothing. Aside from the barely average food, everything else about this visit was deeply disappointing: the service, the attitude, the charges, and the overall hospitality. This hotel ranks among the worst hotel in Quebec city. Avoid it if you value good service, respect, and transparency.

Really nice food, which is proper Indian food, the owner is very polite, humble and respectful, we were running late on the easter weekend and reached at about closing time, but he served us really good food. Highly recommended.

My son had the chicken briyani - he loves it. We had the combo lamb curry? and chicken tandoori rice stuffs - perfectly flavoured. The nan is also nicely done. The ambience is nice altho a lil noisy since its saturday night. Please come by and try them, i would definitely recommend this place. It is Halal too..
