We tried this place for the first time after they moved from Brossard to Longueil and it is the most disappointing $220 we ever spent. The proprietor changed and so did their food. The meat under their Istanbul Mixed Kebab was okay (tender) but it’s not the same taste/anymore. Even their fries changed (I used to get extra portions of their frites because they were SO GOOD). Their lahmacun wasn’t good and we got so many thinking it was the same :”( Disappointing and will not be returning. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ Review from summer of 2020: We’ve been eating here several times since we discovered this place a few weeks ago, as good as they come for Turkish food (I may be Asian but le mari is Turkish!) and we both enjoy the food here every time. The service though... varies, sometimes you get prompt and efficient service and other times, it takes a while to get any service at all. There is one particular lady in hijab that I find to be the best as she knows what she’s doing, is efficient and provides good service, she should be the manager there! (If that is not already the case).

We decided to try this restaurant on a Sunday night on our way to Montreal and were taken care of by Manal. Initially, there was some difficulty in allowing us to sit where we wanted to despite the restaurant being empty. The food, however, made us forget everything. We ordered a plate for two - three skewers and more bulgur in place of salad and fries. The quantity was excellent and the chicken tasted wonderful. The food was accompanied with some fine breads and dips including garlic sauce and tahini. Only shortcoming in the food was the lamb, which could have been better cooked. We were also offered tea and dessert on the house at the end of the meal. Overall, a great experience with beautiful interior decor and Turkish pop music. Wishing the new owners all the best!
