What people say about (AL QUDS Grill)

Yusuf Zubayer

This is a restaurant very dear to our heart. We truly believe their kabab is the best in Montreal. But what we love even more is their generosity and social responsibility. A restaurant that feed people without asking any questions, is on a class of their own. When I read their post about distributing free food in Ramadan, the eloquence of the message made me tear up. I pray that they find their Lord a zillion times more merciful towards them.

Amazing charcoal meats. Loved their combo family meal, and the meats were juicy and tender. There is plenty of seating in a communal open area with tables. There was also some limited outs

Burned food, poor value, and no care for customer requests — never again. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience with Al Quds Grill in Roxboro, especially after giving them two chances to get it right. I ordered ½ kg of chicken taouk and ½ kg of lamb, and both times, the food came completely burned — blackened, dry, and totally lacking in flavor. I explicitly asked that the meat not be overcooked or burned, and they ignored this request both times. It honestly looked and tasted like it had been forgotten on the grill. For $70, you’d expect decent quality and at least a full, balanced platter. Instead, I got: Burned meat One sad pepper, No tomatoes, No garnishes — just a pile of charred meat in a box. There was zero attention to detail, no care for presentation, and no respect for the customer's instructions. The food looked rushed and dumped together, and frankly, it felt like a complete waste of money. If this is how they treat repeat customers, I can’t imagine the standard for first-timers. Save your money and go somewhere that respects their clients and takes pride in their food. I will not be returning — ever. See attached photos if you want to know what $70 of disappointment looks like.
