BeaverTails- Queues de Castor (Jasper)

Stopped in after having a nearby lunch. Thought this would satisfy my sweet tooth, but it did not. Like most advertising, this did not look as good as the signs or menu. Essentially, it is deep fried dough, and then topping are added. Asked the server for a recommendation, and he suggested the Avalanche, which is crushed pieces of Skor candies, on top of a cheesecake frosting. Unfortunately, it was a bit tasteless and very greasy. After a few small bites I ended up tossing it out. I could not get anyone else interested in trying it. Not a place that I would recommend.

It was my first time trying a beaver tail and it was delicious! I loved all the souvenirs they have in store, really good experience for tourists!

We had a great experience at BeaverTails in Jasper! It was our first time visiting, and we absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and made us feel very welcome. Food was fresh, delicious, and perfect for a sweet treat during our Jasper trip. The place has a cozy vibe and is definitely a must-visit if you’re in town. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely come again and again!🥰
