Some of the best cod (panko crumbed) I have ever tasted in a restaurant with a view across to mountains beyond the train lines. Friendly service in a restaurant that was quiet at lunchtime,

Had dinner here two of my four nights in Jasper. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. Absolutely a place to check out when you're in town. Note that it's upstairs, so you might miss it if you're not looking for the door.
Night 1: Starter: Canadian maple syrup cured salmon, potato cake, lemon & horseradish whipped cream
Main: Rancher’s elk, bison & boar meatloaf with a blueberry cornbread, with lingonberry demi-glace. Served with creamy mashed potato & seasonal vegetables
Night 2: Fish pot. Salmon, snapper, prawns, mussels and clams simmered in a tomato, saffron and fennel coconut broth served with French lentil coconut rice.

This restaurant is a must-visit in Jasper. My husband and I came here for dinner after a hike, and we really enjoyed our experience here. We ordered the seafood chowder, the calamari, the fish pot and the elk stroganoff. Every dish was delicious, with the seafood chowder and the fish pot being our favourites. The food is so fresh and cooked so well.
Service is fantastic as well. They really take such good care of you to ensure you feel welcome and taken care of. You also get free bread, which is delicious and mops up the soups so well.
We wish we could have tried dessert as well but we were so stuffed from our mains.
