Stopped by Mt. Everest in Lethbridge for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant has a simple, no-nonsense vibe-nothing fancy, but clean and welcoming, with the enticing aroma of spices as soon as you walk in. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure our orders were taken quickly and the food arrived hot. I ordered the chicken donair, which was wrapped in soft pita and loaded with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and juicy chicken, as shown in the photos. The presentation was straightforward, with the donair neatly wrapped in checkered paper and plastic, making it easy to eat. The crinkle-cut fries on the side were golden and perfectly crisp-a classic comfort food pairing that hit the spot. Portion sizes were generous and the flavors fresh, with the veggies adding a nice crunch and the chicken well-seasoned. For the price, the value is excellent-you get a hearty, satisfying meal that doesn’t break the bank. Overall, Mt. Everest is a great spot for a casual bite, offering tasty food, friendly service, and solid value. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!
