I recently visited Red Deer Halal Meat & Asian Food, and I had a very disappointing experience. The staff was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. When I asked for assistance to cut some meat, the employee rudely told me to either “buy or leave,” without offering any further help. This is completely unacceptable customer service. Additionally, the prices are far higher than what you would expect for the quality of goods offered. I feel like the store is taking advantage of its customers by overcharging for basic items. As a Muslim, I was also saddened to see this behavior in a business that should be representing our community positively. This place gives a bad name to both Halal businesses and the local Muslim community in Red Deer. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge others to be cautious before shopping here. This store needs to improve its customer service and treat customers with respect, or it should not be allowed to continue operating.
