Mazahr Lebanese Restaurant is a little hidden gem tucked away at Granville Street and 11th Ave. Since it’s in a busy area, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but once you step inside, the cozy and well-organized space makes up for it. It has that warm, family-run feel—though I’m not entirely sure if it actually is.
Now, let’s talk food! The flavors were on point—rich, authentic, and perfect for sharing. The menu is designed for a communal dining experience, so if you’re looking for a big solo entrée, you might have a hard time finding one. I think they could tweak the menu a bit to offer more variety for individual diners.
Their house cocktails and Arak were okay—not bad, but not mind-blowing either. The cocktails leaned a little too sweet for our taste, but nothing undrinkable.
Service was friendly, though there’s definitely room for improvement. Overall, we had a great time, and if you’re into Lebanese flavors, it’s worth checking out. Give it a shot—you might just find your new favorite spot!

Mazahr Lebanese Kitchen is an absolute gem in Vancouver for anyone craving authentic, flavourful Lebanese cuisine. Whether you’re coming as a group to share or looking for a satisfying individual meal, this spot hits all the marks. The menu is thoughtfully crafted with a variety of mezze, grilled meats, and hearty vegetarian options, making it perfect for sharing platters or for those who want to enjoy a full dish to themselves.
The food is fresh, vibrant, and deeply satisfying. The hummus is silky smooth, the baba ghanoush has just the right smoky depth, and the falafel is perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining tender inside. Their mixed grill platter is a standout, offering a generous assortment of grilled lamb, chicken, and beef that’s beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Paired with warm, fluffy pita and bright, zesty salads, every bite feels like a small celebration of Lebanese culinary tradition.
What makes Mazahr even better is the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing their culture’s food. It feels like dining with family — warm, comfortable, and full of care.
Whether it’s a casual dinner with friends, a family gathering, or even a quick solo lunch, Mazahr Lebanese Kitchen delivers consistently great food and an inviting dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Lebanese flavours right in the heart of Vancouver.
