What people say about (Blazing Chicken Shack)

Wanted to grab some takeout so I could watch playoff hockey back in my hotel room and this looked like a good spot to try. Overall, I'd say it was good, but I wasn't super sold on the value for money. I paid about $21 after tax for a sandwich, some fries, and a canned pop. A bit pricey for takeout tbh, and the portion size on the sandwich and fries wasn't anything spectacular. The sandwich definitely tasted good which is a plus. Better than a fast food chain for sure. But I feel like for the price the portion could be bigger (even as simple as being a bit less stingy on the fries). Atmosphere was okay. Someone seemed to be doing repairs at the time, and while that doesn't really bother me I could imagine it possibly bothering others. Buckets on the floor and tools on the dining tables. Normally don't tip when I do takeout but did this time for the cashier who was really nice. She saw I was thinking a lot with the menu and helped walk me through the menu. Still a decent meal though and exactly the type of meal I was looking for to watch hockey.

First visit, won't be the last. Had the Queen City Buffalo: huge cutlet, bit of heat to the sauce, blue cheese slaw unlike anything I've ever had before! Seasoned curly fries and a drink to complete the trio. Added some fingers with Buttermilk Ranch and Carolina Tangy Gold. Everything delicious! Great location on Graham, huge potential, owner Eric has big plans...we should help them become reality! 10 outta 10!

Wonderfully spicy and crispy chicken burger! I tried the Music city Nashville sando and hot honey wafflewich. I only got the hot version of both, and it was plenty spicy. Luckily, i got the combo, and the fresh coleslaw calmed down my taste buds. Only thing I would change for next time is not to have the chicken fingers dipped in sauce for take out as it gets a bit soggy.
