KFC

I haven't gone there in many, many years. The reason was because of a certain employee, who was very rude. I have serious issues with her and I am sure others have too. I learned 20+ years ago that she was being considered for the manager position, and I heard from a friend of mine in 2008 that she worked at that KFC location and she quit after just a mere week because of that rude employee. I wanted to fill out a suggestion, only to learn the suggestion box was done away with. They even offered cheap soft drinks - possibly to win back customers after their bad experience. Nothing will win me back to that location. Plus, after reading the reviews about the food being terrible, plus the so-called "secret recipe" having been changed, I now have even more reason to stop doing business with KFC no matter what location. In fact, I stopped doing business with KFC on a regular basis since 2006.

Oh, where do I begin with my culinary misadventure at the KFC in Avalon Mall? But, let's be real here – not even the nicest folks on Earth can save this sinking ship of a restaurant. It's like they were cast in the wrong movie, trying to star in a heartwarming rom-com when they’ve actually been handed a script for a tragic horror flick. Now, the food. Oh, the food. Picture chicken pieces so small you’d need a microscope to find them. Seriously, I considered borrowing a magnifying glass from Sherlock Holmes just to confirm that I wasn’t eating crumbs off the floor. And the taste? Imagine something older than your grandma’s secret recipe book. These chicken pieces have seen things – wars, plagues, maybe even the extinction of the dinosaurs. They were dry, flavorless, and had the texture of ancient relics. And let’s not forget the price tag. I felt like I was funding a small nation with what they charged for this atrocity. For the amount I paid, I could have bought an entire farm, raised my own chickens, and cooked them to perfection. Instead, I was left with a wallet lighter than a feather and a stomach sadder than a breakup ballad. In conclusion, KFC Avalon Mall is the culinary equivalent of a bad day at the office – no amount of friendly faces can make up for the abysmal food quality. Save your money, save your taste buds, and for the love of all that is holy, bring a magnifying glass if you decide to venture into this abyss of disappointment.

Not a fan of warmed up food. Not even doing it behind closed doors. Warming food right up in front of you to serve. Cashier was friendly.
