5 stars 5!!! Okay I haven't done this in at least 5 years. It takes a lot to take my breath away. So getting five stars from me is really hard. But these guys achieved it. I was blown away. I

Authentic Chinese restaurant with fast service and friendly staff. The place was open and bright. We ordered: Xin Jiang BBQ Cabbage which was full of flavour from the cumin, Sichuan pepper, star anise etc. The cabbage was crunchy and fresh. It could use a bit more char. Szechuan Fish Fillet in Peppercorn Chilli Soup which had tender and perfectly poached fish fillets. We wish it was spicier but otherwise this dish was tasty and full of fragrant spices. Egg & Chive Pancakes was packed with filling and the pancake had a really crispy texture on the outside but soft on the inside. It had glass noodles inside as well. It has a faint aromatic flavour that wasn’t too overpowering. We poured some of the Szechuan peppercorn chilli soup inside too which tied in all the flavours together.

I rarely go out of my way to leave a review, but I felt I needed to with this restaurant. Been here twice and service was always wonderful and never disappointed. The food is amazing with a unique style and a variety of options, some more traditional Chinese and others with their Turkic style. Beef kebabs are ✨amazing✨. Will definitely be coming back. No doubt my favourite restaurant in Barrie.
