I was curious to try this Portuguese/African food. My friend and I ventured in. It's very tiny inside. Maybe 4 tables? The food was ok. It just tasted like BBQ chicken. They did have mild, medium, and extra hot for sauces, but we didn't try them - I should have because it would have given me an idea on the actual peri peri flavas. My friend actually didn't want fries and asked for more salad instead, but she forgot to relay that to the staff in the back, and fries were served. It wasn't the end of the world, and she offered to make a side salad, but that was declined. I took a picture of the dreaded Coke machine that was in the small eating area... it was soo loud I had to strain to hear what my friend was saying - it makes the "eating in" experience less than ideal. I would have rather listened to the Purge siren. On repeat. On a positive note, the food wasn't expensive - both meals came to $26, from what I recall. And the woman that took our order was very kind. Will I be back? No.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful first time experience with this new restaurant. Very nice young man at the front counter helped explain each dish and price very affordable for 2. The food was very flavorful. I never had such unique tastes very good. Both my bf and I walked away satisfied/full from sharing the poutine and had the energy we needed to get our groceries.
