What people say about (Jatujak Thai Restaurant - Steeles Ave East)

MQ

It was a rainy day, so when we walked in and saw how quiet it was, I initially thought, “Hmm, maybe this place isn’t that great.” But then I figured the rain probably kept people away, so we decided to stay — and I’m glad we did! The staff were super nice. The atmosphere was okay — not their strongest suit — but at the end of the day, it’s all about the food. My partner and I loved the Tom Yum soup and the curry! The calamari was really tasty too. I’m a big noodle fan, so I went for the Pad Thai, but it was just okay compared to the rest. Also, worth noting — they offer a small discount if you pay with cash, which was a nice surprise!

We went for lunch and surprised to see many lunch specials at affordable price. I started with Tom Yum soup with shrimp. I tried the Pad Thai chicken combo with spring roll and salad. The noodle serving is enough for two. It was savoury. My aunt got the Garlic shrimp with rice. Then we also tried their new seafood specials with soft shell crab, squid, mussels, shrimps in curry sauce. It was delicious and made with some fresh vegetables. Definitely worth a try. And for dessert, we got the Thai sticky rice with its nice mango heart design and really enjoyed all the food we ordered.

Love this location. It is very spacious. I love all the decorations. It makes me feel like I’m somewhere else. The food comes very very quickly. Is this the best Thai restaurant ever? I wou
