I am in agreement with previous reviewers: the Tillsonburg Wendy's on Simcoe St. is disgusting. The restaurant is so dirty & unhygienic. This is my first time there & maybe my last. My companion & I sat in comfy chairs by the fake fireplace which was a lovely sitting area but the floor was dirty & So-O-O sticky, our shoes stuck to the floor. The tables were sticky. The pop machine area was dirty & sticky with spilled pop & stains on the countertop. Instead of mopping up spills on the floor, the staff simply put a WET FLOOR cone nearby & left the mess. Even after I complimented a staff member on their service & informed them of the sticky, disgusting messes, nothing was done.
Finally we moved to the Tim Hortons side because we couldn't stand adhering to the floor any longer. It was cleaner there.
The bathrooms were marginally better. I used the family washroom. The floor was sticky (surprise, surprise!). The toilet was dirty with stains in the bowl & on the outside. I felt dirtier after using the washroom than before using it.
The staff provided good customer service. Some of them could do with exercising their face muscles more often --- by smiling. However, they were pleasant enough, prepared my order efficiently & attended to my needs. When I complimented a WAYNE'S WORLD GARTH lookalike (minus the glasses), he responded with words of gratitude.
I was somewhat disappointed that staff did not offer to help me bring my food to the table. I am a disabled senior who uses a walker for mobility. Example, I was directed to the drink station for supplies but the staff member did provide them for me when I asked
If only this location would spend more time on hygiene & cleanliness, the restaurant would be great. It seems like this has been going on for a long time, judging by the comments here. My next step might be to contact Public Health as this is perhaps a food industry health code violation.
PEOPLE TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK PLACE!!! A messy place reflects poorly on the location, yourselves & the franchise . Plus if the FOH (front of house) is so filthy, what is the food prep area like? Is it just as unhygienic????Will I become sick???

Automatic door openers at entrances & washroom. Disabled Washroom available with auto entrance. It's large but the toilet is old & low. There isn't a raised seat. The washroom was dirty as per the rest of the store. There were grab bars, however.
Only two accessible parking spaces in a location shared with Tim Hortons. Of course they were in use at the time.

Got to this Wendy’s and we were the only ones in drive thru. We ordered simple breakfast wrap combos. They made us pull up, and proceeded to take 18 minutes to get us our food. I was about to go in and ask for a refund, because we were on a time limit and I’ve never waited so long for fast food. When we got the food, the wedges were so inedible overcooked that they were rock hard, and had literally no potato inside. Legit empty inside! Our wraps were also all broken/ripped open. This is the worst Wendy’s and fast food experience I’ve ever had. My family will never go to this Wendy’s again.
