What people say about (Namak Handi Whitby)

R T

I’m in the middle of eating as I write this. lol. So good! Was craving spice and full bold flavours. Chicken karahi specifically. I randomly landed on a new place in Whitby. I went through Uber eats which many of their dishes are discounted there. Pricing was really good. I got chicken karahi bone in (they have boneless for a dollar more), Chicken biryani and garlic naan. This will give me lunches for at least 2 more days and came in at just over $30 with tip. Whenever people review and say it had the perfect spice, I am annoyed because I don’t know what that means. Perfect for who? And yet. Here I am to say it had the perfect spice. lol. If you’re craving bold flavours AND spice this literally checked all the boxes. It wasn’t making me cry so it was unenjoyable, but it also wasn’t weak where I’m disappointed I’m not at least having a little bit of a challenge. 😏. Definitely will be ordering again and glad I took a chance on them. Namak Handi in Whitby on Brock St. 😋

We had chicken pulao but it didn’t meet our expectation. But their chicken biriyani is taste good . The second picture is a takeout order. We love it.

Namak Handi is hands-down one of the best spots for authentic flavors! The Chicken Karahi was perfectly spiced and bursting with rich, bold taste. Their biryani was fragrant, flavorful, and cooked to perfection – every grain of rice was just right. The Malai Handi was a showstopper – creamy, delicious, and so satisfying! Pairing it all with their fresh naan made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving real, traditional Pakistani cuisine. Excellent service and cozy ambiance make it even better. Can’t wait to come back!
