We recently had dinner at Al Sabeel Restaurant in Windsor, Ontario, and it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
The food, however, was the real star of the evening. We started with a variety of appetizers, and every single one was perfect. The tabouli was fresh and vibrant, bursting with the perfect balance of parsley, lemon, and olive oil. The fattoush was crisp and refreshing, with just the right amount of tangy sumac. The hummus and baba ghanouj were smooth and creamy, offering a rich and authentic flavor. The garlic potatoes were packed with flavor, and the garlic sauce that accompanied them was amazing—rich, tangy, and perfectly complementing every bite.
For the main course, we ordered the family BBQ platter, and it was beyond impressive. The meats were grilled to perfection— it was tender and juicy, the chicken was perfectly cooked with a smoky, flavorful char, and the kafta was so well-seasoned it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was a testament to the quality and care that goes into their dishes.
My wife wanted to try the sujouk sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The sujuk was spicy, flavorful, and paired beautifully with its toppings, making it one of the best sandwiches we've ever had.
To top it all off, the portions were generous, making it an incredible value for such high-quality food.
Overall, our experience at Al Sabeel was nothing short of amazing. The combination of outstanding service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere makes this restaurant a must-visit. We wholeheartedly recommend Al Sabeel and can’t wait to return!
