What people say about (Ali Baba's Middle Eastern Cuisine)

CB

I must say that this Ali Baba’s location is the very best of them all, as it relates to food taste and service timeliness, in my opinion. I have not been to every Ali Baba’s location but I can unequivocally state that if you want freshly prepared and tasty food, look no further than the location at 197 Dundas Street West, Toronto (Dundas St & University Ave). I work nearby and deem this Ali Baba location as a solid lunch option for those who work are frequenting the downtown core. They’re typically busy during the lunch hour rush with customers who work at the neighbouring commercial offices. I suspect that they’re a family-owned operation and I must admit, they run it very top tier, for such an aesthetically humble and unpretentious restaurant! Great food, phenomenal service, reasonably priced lunch items and conveniently located for foot traffic! Go check it out!

I really enjoyed the falafel—crispy on the outside and full of flavor! My friend had the shawarma and loved it too. Great spot if you’re craving something tasty and satisfying!

I didn't realise this but this is a chain restaurant. Came here for a snack on wednesday evening at around 9pm. It wasn't busy at all. The worker was super nice and helpful with my order. I started with getting the beef shwarma platter with brown rice. Then I got all the toppings which were potatoes, a lot of salady things, chilli sauce, humus and beef shwarma on top. It really hit the spot. It cost around 20$ and there was a good amount. I was sharing with 2 other people as well and there was more than enough to be a fulfilling snack. Meat had a nice seared outside on each piece. The chilli sauce and humus were great and the veggies all tasted quite fresh. All in all a great snack. Wouldn't tell people to go out of there way to eat here but if your in town and need a solid snack then this is pretty good
