Basmati Indian Cuisine Whitby

First time visit to this Indian restaurant and the overall experience was great. Small space but nice decor and ambiance for dine in. We ordered velluli chicken appetizer and it was delicious

On a Sunday evening, we experienced a delay in food service. The management should consider hiring additional staff during busy times. Despite the wait of 50 minutes, the food—butter chicken, Andhra gongura mutton curry, gobi 65, butter naan, garlic naan, and fried rice—was exceptionally good. We appreciated the hardworking lady at the front, who handled both angry customers and food delays. The dessert was complimentary, and the kids received lollipops.

This is a new Indian restaurant in Whitby Went in there to try and it was okay. Not great I would say. We tried chicken fried rice, baby corn and chicken soup. Fried rice was good to my taste. But my wife didn't like that much as there was ghee smell . Baby corn was something I didn't expect that way. It was more ghee smell. Soup was good though 😁 It's a nice ambiance and service is good. Must try if you are around.
