I recently dined at Cambo and wanted to share my experience. The food was quite nice, showcasing a variety of flavors that were enjoyable. However, I found the prices to be quite steep compared to other places outside of Joliette, where the prices are more competitive. This was a bit disappointing. I tried the General Tao, and it was different from what I'm used to. While it had its own unique twist, the portion size was quite small. I also sampled the Pad Thai, which was made well but, again, left me wanting more. The portions were not substantial enough to consider asking for a take-home bag. Overall, Cambo is not a bad place to dine in, but the prices and portion sizes do not seem to offer good value. For just one meal, I ended up spending $38, which felt excessive for what I received. If you're looking for a unique dining experience and are willing to pay a premium, it might be worth a visit. However, if you're after more generous portions and better value, you might want to explore other options.
