Yemeni Village Restaurant

Great halal restaurant with unique decor. Got to meet the new owner Ala, great personality. We tried lamb soup, the mango drink had dates, raisins, and nuts in it. The curry sizzler had thick minced meat, great taste. Tip: Try their yummy Mint Margherita / Lemon drink, among other dishes.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, it felt very homey. There were multiple families dining the night we came which added to the vibe. Our server was also sweet & attentive. First time try

This is the second time I visited this restaurant in Calgary! The lamb with rice is very delicious and the meat is moist. The liver dish and the fish dish are average. The freshly baked bread is generous in serving and tasted very good. We will be back again.
